Annual scholarship for Master in Science Communication
“Franco Prattico”, SISSA Trieste
The Master in Science Communication “Franco Prattico” (MCS) is an advanced course that aims to train professionals in different fields of science communication.
From 2021, the Pezcoller Foundation provides a € 4,500 scholarship, covering the entire registration fee, to the person who ranked first in the admission list.
The call for applications for the 2024/25 academic year closed on September 12, 2024.

The recipient of the 2023-2024 scholarship is Chiara De Santi!
Dr. De Santi has a Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry (University of Padua) and she is specialized in NMR spectroscopy (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). She worked for several years in a pharmaceutical research company, she is always been interested in science and actively participated in various initiatives as a volunteer.

2023-24 Recipient: Elena Barosso
Class of ’98, she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Bioengineering (University of Padua).
2022-23 Recipient: Andrea De Giovanni
Degree in Biodiversity and Evolution, Doctorate at the University of Bologna. He has always been passionate about nature photography and writing. His works have been published in scientific magazines and websites.
2021-22 Recipient: Lorenzo Marchesi
Degree in history and oriental sciences and a passion for the history of science
