And The Nobel Prize
The rigorous selection procedures and the excellence of the winners of the Pezcoller-AACR international Award, are further evidenced by the fact that four winners of the Pezcoller Prize have been subsequently awarded with the Nobel Prize for Medicine.
In addition, three Nobel Awardees have been part of the past Selection Committees, and three gave the Keynote Lectures at the Pezcoller Symposia (Trento, June 2018 and 2023).
Since 2022, the 2019 Nobel Laureate in Medicine dr William G Kaelin is the Chairman of the Pezcoller Symposia.
