Established in 2020, the Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award celebrates the achievements of those working to champion women working in cancer research.

NOMINATIONS
We invite the nomination of outstanding cancer researchers who have demonstrated academic excellence and achievements in the field of cancer research and who have, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in cancer research. Self-nominations and nominations for EACR Board members cannot be accepted.
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
– Have spent at least the last 5 years working in Europe
– presently be employed in a European institution
THE WINNER
- will receive a €10,000 honorarium from the Pezcoller Foundation
- will give the prestigious Pezcoller-Marina Larcher Fogazzaro-EACR Women in Cancer Research Award Lecture at the EACR Congress (free registration, accommodation and travel costs covered by the EACR).
- will be invited to give a lecture in Trento, Italy, in Autumn, at a date to be agreed
How to make a nomination
Deadline for receipt of nominations: 12 September 2024
It’s easy to submit a nomination. All you need to do is write a short letter of support of no more than 1,000 words and submit it through the EACR online portal. It’s also usual to contact the nominee prior to making the nomination.
